Construction on New Addition Begins at Concordia
Construction on the new 20,000 sq. foot, two floor addition to Loeber Hall on Concordia’s Mequon campus is underway. The $3 million expansion is needed to meet the growing needs of the students, according to Concordia officials.
The first floor of the addition is slated for undergraduate science and will include classrooms, state-of-the-art labs for chemistry, biology, and general science. The space will also be filled with some offices. The second floor of the expansion will be used for general classrooms in the art department, health sciences, and other general studies.
“The new addition points to Concordia’s continued growth and commitment to providing the students with the needed space so they can succeed,” said Al Prochnow, executive vice president and chief operating officer at Concordia.
The project is expected to be completed by July for use in fall 2010.
