MUMC Holds Confirmation Ceremony For Youth

Mequon United Methodist Church held a confirmation ceremony on May 17 for several youth, as they made their first public affirmation of their Christian faith along with professing a desire to follow Methodist faith principles. Methodist Confirmation classes involved working with Pastor Wesley White and Youth Minister Ben Gruettner, along with several adult mentors to gain an understanding of biblical scripture, to explore the use of scripture in their everyday lives, and to discover how to continue providing a positive Christian influence in the community. Confirmation candidates earning congratulations are as follows: Laura Kirtley, Elise Alverson, Petey Jones, Henry Ballesteros, Jenna Burns, Mitchell Shaurette, Alex Ellis, and Samantha Schwager. Mequon United Methodist Church is located at 11011 N. Oriole Lane in Mequon.
