The Shorewood girls swim team took five firsts and eased to victory in the State Small Schools Invitational it hosted Saturday.
"This was an incredible team meet today for the girls," said Greyhound coach Rob McCabe. "This is our first step into the championship season and I like the direction we are headed. All season these girls have raced to the level of competition next to them. Today was no different, and racing this quality of opponent will help us move forward."
Shorewood scored 294 points. Plymouth was second with 278, Whitefish Bay third (245) and Brown Deer/University School ninth (129). A total of 17 teams took part.
