1A 23-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor and that minor, a 16-year-old girl, and an 18-year-old woman, both of Milwaukee, for theft and possession of booster bags at Old Navy, 9094 N. Green Bay Road, at 5:45 p.m. Jan. 18. The trio filled the booster bags with 20 items valued at more than $220 and drove off in a car without plates. The 23-year-old woman, the car's owner, took the plates off, she said, so police wouldn't be able to identify her.
2A 54-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for theft after taking 26 packages of women's socks valued at $156 from Burlington Coat Factory, 9040 N. Green Bay Road, at 11 a.m. Jan. 19. He ran out of the store with the socks in a black nylon bag and when stopped told police, "Man, you already know." Police returned the socks to the store and after citing the man, allowed him to leave this time with an empty nylon bag. About 90 minutes later, the same officer saw the man with the nylon bag and it was no longer empty. Inside were packages of men's underwear valued at $136 taken from TJ Maxx, 8700 N. Green Bay Road. The man first denied the items had been stolen but then admitted they had but he wasn't the thief. He was cited for receiving stolen property.
A 21-year-old Brown Deer woman was arrested for substantial battery/use of a dangerous weapon/domestic violence related after she stabbed a 21-year-old Brown Deer man, the father of her child, about 7:30 p.m. Jan. 26. The man had a deep cut in his arm and bleeding badly. He was taken to a hospital and also referred to the district attorney on possible charges for disorderly conduct/domestic violence related after the woman reported he had pushed and choked her.
3A 21-year-old Brown Deer woman was cited on a noise complaint at 1:40 a.m. Jan. 27. after being warned she would be cited if the noise continued in the 4700 block of West Deer Run at 11:55 p.m. Jan. 26. At that time, the party was in the garage and when police knocked on the door, she called, "Who the (expletive) is it?" She said she was having a back-to-school party and would quiet down. When police were called back, the party and noise was now coming from the residence. This time she said she was having a toga party and admitted being "a loud person." She had been warned for noise last year Oct. 26 and Oct. 27 and at that time told police she was having a Halloween party.
A 33-year-old Brown Deer woman was arrested for disorderly conduct while using a dangerous weapon/domestic violence related after hitting a girl and threatening her with a gun at 10:45 p.m. Jan. 31. The woman denied threatening the girl with the gun saying she was trying to put it away. The gun wasn't loaded and no ammunition was in the home.
A 20-year-old Brown Deer woman was arrested for disorderly conduct/use of a dangerous weapon/domestic violence related at 8:15 p.m. Feb. 1. She threatened a man with a hammer after they argued over the ownership of a TV. They had lived together and the man was now moving out. He'd been arrested for domestic violence Jan. 27 after he pushed her and threw a shoe in her face.
Two additional domestic violence incidents were reported this week.
A resident reported the theft of his check book and forgery at 2 p.m. Jan. 23. He had been called by a Chippewa Falls shoe company that was double checking a $400 purchase paid for by his check and the items being sent to a Milwaukee address. He told them it was not his order and the shoes were not sent and the check canceled. He then called his bank and found out that another check for $290 was used to buy items from Orvis. Those items were sent. He closed his account.
4A man, age and residence not available, was arrested for drunken driving, with a prior conviction and open intoxicants after he was stopped for expired plates in the 7700 block of North Port Washington Road at 2:43 a.m. Feb. 3. The man's plates had just expired Jan. 31. He admitted drinking two glasses of wine at supper about two hours before. After failing field sobriety tests, he admitted having a shot of vodka, two shots of scotch and one glass of wine. His blood alcohol content was 0.09.
5A man, age and residence not available, was arrested for driving a motor vehicle without the owner's consent, failure to stop for an emergency vehicle, driving with a revoked license, defective taillights and a felony warrant in the 7800 block of North Port Washington Road at 5:45 p.m. Feb. 4. The car had been reported stolen from Milwaukee.
6A woman, age and residence not available, was arrested for drunken driving, failure to have insurance and warned for failure to stop for an emergency vehicle and driving north in south bound lanes in the 7200 block of North Santa Monica Boulevard at 3:30 p.m. Feb. 5. She finally stopped in the 500 block of East Community Place telling police she didn't see them or hear them and was on her way to pick up a friend's children from Stormonth School. She admitted drinking and when asked what, where and when said, "A pint of brandy … in the car … right now." Her BAC was 0.24.
7A 46-year-old Glendale woman was arrested for drunken driving, with a prior conviction, after a report of a woman in a car for more than an hour with the motor running at Pick 'n Save, 1735 W. Silver Spring Drive, about 10:30 p.m. Jan. 29. The woman, who drove away and when stopped was asked if she knew why she was stopped, said, "I have no idea." She had urinated in her pants and admitted drinking in the car where an almost empty bottle of rum was found. She said she was on medication for post-traumatic stress disorder.
8A 28-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct after refusing to leave a relative's residence in the 200 block of East Fiebrantz Avenue at 2 a.m. Jan. 30. The relative said the man threatened her and she locked herself in a room and called police. The man could be seen through a window and when arrested said he didn't do anything wrong.
9A 26-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct at Applebee's, 5810 N. Bayshore Drive, at 9:40 p.m. Jan. 31. The man said he became angry after telling the manager that a server had taken a $20 bill he put on the table. When the manger said no one took his money, he flipped over his table spilling food and drinks and then left in a car but was stopped on Interstate 43.
10A 29-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man, both of Milwaukee, are suspects for fraud on Educator's Credit Union, 7139 N. Port Washington Road, in September 2012 and reported Feb. 1. The woman deposited checks written on a closed account, therefore worthless, at various ATMs around Milwaukee and after depositing checks made withdrawals of more than $3,000. The case is under investigation.
11A 38-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, with three prior convictions in the last five years, after being stopped for an illegal left turn in the 5400 block of North Port Washington Road at 8 p.m. Feb. 1. He begged police to let him go over and over again saying, "Man, don't do this to me." His BAC was 0.15.
12An 18-year-old Glendale man and a 17-year-old Whitefish Bay girl were arrested for underage drinking during a girls' basketball game at Nicolet High School, 6701 N. Jean Nicolet Road, at 8:50 p.m. Feb. 1. The man said he had mixed gin with Gatorade and they drank it at another location before the game. They had BACs of 0.145 and 0.134.
13A 28-year-old Glendale man was arrested for disorderly conduct after a report of two men yelling at each other at the corner of Ames Terrace and Marne Avenue at midnight Feb. 2. The man had been drinking and had fallen cutting his head. He was taken to a hospital.
14A 25-year-old woman, residence not listed, was arrested for theft of items valued at $338 at Kohl's, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, at 12:30 p.m. Feb. 2. The woman filled a cart as she walked through various departments then entered a boy's fitting room and left with her purse filled. She fled in a car and when stopped said she stole because she had no job and no money. She also had two warrants from Wauwatosa.
15A man reported being the victim of an armed robbery at a bus shelter in the 300 block of West Silver Spring Drive at 7 p.m. Feb. 3. Three males approached him, one lifting his shirt to reveal a gun saying, "Hate to bother you … empty your pockets." The man handed over $2 saying that was all he had. One of the suspects gave the money back saying, "I can't take this." At least one of the men is a suspect in similar robberies in West Allis, Milwaukee and Wauwatosa.
16The tires and rims were taken from two 2013 Ford Escapes at Heiser Ford, 1700 W. Silver Spring Drive, between Feb. 2 to Feb. 4. Taken were 19-inch tires and titanium rims valued at $4,400. The cars were found on blocks.
17A 2005 Ford truck valued at $10,000 with equipment valued at about $50,000 including a crane and ladder rack, was taken from the 6500 block of North Sydney Place about 1:30 p.m. Feb. 4. It was found the same day in the 3900 block of North 27th Street, Milwaukee, about 3:30 p.m. and reported at 10 p.m. The resident thought, at first, the truck belonged to the landlord.
18An unknown male is a suspect in the theft of sunglasses valued at more than $350 taken from the Sunglass Hut, 490 W. Northshore Drive, about 5:25 p.m. Feb. 5.

19A digital media player valued at $272 was taken from a classroom at Shorewood High School, 1701 E. Capitol Drive, about 2:30 p.m. Jan. 31.
20A Shorewood woman reported she was the victim of a fraud in the 1700 block of East River Park Court on Jan. 23 and reported Feb. 1. She hired the services of a psychic in order to contact a deceased relative. The psychic told her to purchase 10 cashier checks for $5,000 each, which she did giving one to the psychic. She also paid $350 for her services. On Feb. 1 she told police she had canceled the other cashier checks.
21A 31-year-old Shorewood man was arrested for drunken driving, with a prior conviction, and speeding 52 mph in a 30 mph zone in the 1100 block of East Capitol Drive at 2 a.m. Feb. 1. The man, who was taken for a blood draw, had a BAC of 0.19.
22A 39-year-old Whitefish Bay man was arrested for drunken driving, with a prior conviction after being stopped for speeding 46 mph in a 30 mph zone in the 4100 block of North Wilson Drive at 11:40 p.m. Feb. 2. The man, who said he had two drinks, had a BAC of 0.14 and was taken for a blood draw.
23Four cars were entered in the 4400 block of North Woodburn Street overnight Feb. 1 and 2. All were unlocked and parked in driveways and all were rummaged through. One resident reported a $100 digital media player was taken. The other residents reported nothing missing.
Two cars were entered in the 4200 block of North Ardmore Avenue and one in the 1400 block of East. Lake Bluff Avenue on Feb. 1 or 2. A small amount of change was taken from one car.
24Five bottles of alcohol valued at more than $120 were taken in separate thefts at Pick 'n Save, 4145 N. Oakland Ave., on Feb. 4 and 5. The thefts were caught on surveillance video.
25A wallet and contents was reported stolen from a residence in the 4400 block of North Oakland Avenue before 11:30 p.m. Feb. 6. The resident said he had a guest, an unknown male, at his home. One of the credit cards was used.
26Three garages were entered but nothing taken in the 4900 block of North Newhall Street on Feb. 5 or 6. In one incident, a witness saw someone enter a garage about 4 a.m. Feb. 5. A door lock was damaged to gain entry. In another incident, someone entered a detached garage through an unlocked service door and exited after opening the overhead door sometime early morning Feb. 6.
27A 62-year-old Whitefish Bay woman called police after seeing a coyote as she walked her dog on the beach at Big Bay Park, 5000 N. Palisades Road, at 3 p.m. Feb. 5. Police arrived but the coyote was gone. They then gave the woman a warning for having a dog at the park.
28A car window was smashed in the 5600 block of North Santa Monica Boulevard between 3 and 6:30 p.m. Feb. 6. Nothing was reported taken.
29A juvenile, age and residence not released, was arrested for possession of alcohol after being stopped for driving without lights in the 6100 block of North Santa Monica Boulevard about 8:30 p.m. Feb. 8. In what police said was related to this arrest, a juvenile, again age and residence not released, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at 10:44 p.m. Feb. 8.
30A witness reported a school bus backing into a legally parked car and then driving away in the 5000 block of North Marlborough Boulevard at 2:25 p.m. Feb. 9. The amount of damage was not listed and the case is being investigated.
