1A 28-year-old woman, residence not released, was arrested for drunken driving and drunken driving with a passenger under 16, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after she hit a street sign in the 9200 block of North Lake Drive about 10:40 p.m. April 7. The woman fought with officers, screamed obscenities and refused to take a breath test although she admitted drinking. She was treated at a hospital. Another passenger, 17, residence not listed, was arrested on a warrant for battery and taken into protective custody after making suicidal comments. Fox Point police assisted in the arrest of the females.
2A 31-year-old Sheboygan man was arrested for drunken driving and running a red light after making a turn on a red arrow then driving over a concrete medium to make a U-turn at Port Washington and Brown Deer roads at 1:40 a.m. April 14. When stopped, an officer said, "I think you've had too much to drink" and the man answered, "Me, too." He said he was in Alcoholics Anonymous and "This is my fault." Two empty bottles of vodka were found in the car. The man failed field sobriety tests and had a blood alcohol content of 0.24.
3A laptop computer, electronic tablet and briefcase with personal items including a passport and credit cards were taken from a car at Courtyard by Marriott, 5200 W. Brown Deer Road, within five minutes of 7 a.m. March 27. The victim had just put the items into his car and left it unlocked while checking out.
A Brown Deer woman, age not released, was arrested for physical abuse of a child, after her daughter reported being beaten with a belt March 31 and April 1. The girl was at school and said that her mother punished her after she borrowed a friend's phone. Her mother had taken away her phone privileges because of disobeying. An officer and social worker went to the woman's home and the mother admitted "whooping" her daughter because she had disobeyed.
4About $60 in quarters was taken from an unlocked car in the 5800 block of West Ester Place on April 2 or 3.
5A smartphone valued at $450 was taken from either the men's locker room or workout area of the YMCA, 9250 N. Green Bay Road, about 3:40 p.m. April 3.
6A toolbox, value not listed, was reported taken from a car in the 6500 block of West Brown Deer Road at 7:45 p.m. April 6. A window was broken to gain entry.
7A woman, age and residence not released, was arrested for drunken driving, driving with a suspended license and speeding 58 mph in a 35 mph zone in the 7800 block of North Sherman Boulevard at 1:15 a.m. April 7. She admitted having three beers "at home" and knew she shouldn't have been driving. Her BAC was 0.19.
No reportable incidents this week.
8A theft citation was mailed to a former employee April 2 when it was discovered that $200 was missing from a safe at BP Amoco, 525 W. Silver Spring Drive, about 8 p.m. March 27. The suspect had left work early that day because of sitter problems and then that evening, her boyfriend called saying the woman was quitting her job because they were moving to Iowa.
A woman, who worked with a disabled juvenile, reported getting an incorrect W-2 form March 28. The form said she received an additional eight checks totaling $1,408 from the fiscal agent for Milwaukee County Disabilities Service Division. According to the woman, those checks were issued fraudulently to someone else. The case is under investigation.
9A man and woman, ages and residences not released, were arrested for disorderly conduct and the man also for three traffic warrants after witnesses reported them screaming profanities at each other in the 5800 block of North Bayshore Drive at 8:15 p.m. March 29. The woman admitted being angry because the man had taken her car keys after saying she wouldn't drive him home because he was being disrespectful and the man said he took the keys because he didn't want to be "stuck at Bayshore."
10A female, age and residence not released, was arrested for drunken driving and driving with a suspended license, with two prior convictions, after running a red light and weaving across lanes in the 1400 block of West Silver Spring Drive at 10:45 p.m. March 30. The woman said she had a glass of wine and a shot of tequila but wasn't "that drunk" adding she'd been "way more wasted" and still drove. She was taken for a blood draw.
11A 25-year-old woman, residence not released, was arrested for drunken driving and warned for lane deviation after crossing the centerline and almost hitting the curb in the 5600 block of North Port Washington Road at 2 a.m. March 31. She failed field sobriety tests and had a BAC of 0.15.
12Three cars were taken from Bayshore Town Center parking lots at 5801 N. Lydell Ave., 5631 and 5850 N. Bayshore Drive on April 3, 4 and 5.
13A male and a 22-year-old female, no other information released, were arrested for possession of heroin and receiving stolen property after a GPS unit was taken from a car in the Lydell lot, 5801 N. Lydell Ave., the afternoon of April 3. An officer searched Craigslist and found a similar unit on sale and set up a meeting that night at Bayshore. The officer also researched the seller's number and found many items for sale including GPS units and a Coach purse. The couple arrived with a number of GPS units in the car which they later admitted taking mostly from unlocked cars in Grafton. They took the items to sell or pawn in order to get money to buy heroin. Both admitted being addicted to the drug and both said they would like to get into rehabilitation. "I want my life back. I just want to be normal," said the woman. About a gram of heroin was found in the car along with needles and other drug paraphernalia. The couple had pawned some items at Pawn America, 7530 W. Lincoln Ave., and those items not yet sold will be given back to the owners if they can be found.
14A female, age and residence not released, was arrested for armed robbery and car jacking after showing a gun and forcing a woman out of her car in the Lydell lot, 5801 N Lydell Ave., at 9:25 p.m. April 5. When stopped, an unloaded BB gun was found in the car along with the victim's wallet. The suspect said she took the car intending to live in it because her father had thrown her out of the house. She also admitted taking the BB gun from her best friend.
15A woman reported being the victim of a fraud at Sears, 5900 N. Port Washington Road, at 3 p.m. April 7. She intended to buy a TV and tablet and was approached by a man who said he worked for Sears and could get her a discount if she gave him cash for the items. She gave him $350 and he left and never returned. She said his name was Scotty.
16A female, age and residence not released, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, theft and three theft warrants at Boston Store, 5701 N. Lydell Ave., at 7:15 p.m. April 8. The woman had hidden three shirts valued at $155 under her own clothes and fled the store. The shirts were recovered along with a pipe with marijuana residue.
17A boy, age and residence not released, was mailed a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia, a glass pipe with residue and a lighter, at Nicolet High School, 6701 N. Jean Nicolet Road, at 10:30 a.m. April 8. The boy said he purchased the pipe over the Internet and only used it to smoke tobacco. He was given a 5-day suspension.
18A resident reported the theft of gold cuff links valued at $1,500 from a jewelry box in the 4800 block of North Lydell Avenue at 2 p.m. April 9. The cuff links were last seen more than a year ago.
19A wallet with about $70 in cash and a $200 cellphone were taken from an open men's locker at LA Fitness, 501 W. Northshore Drive, about 2:30 p.m. April 10. The owner said he stepped away for about 15 minutes.

20A Milwaukee man, age not released, was taken into custody April 3 after being linked to the burglary of items valued at over $1,200 from Lutheran Memorial Chapel, 3833 N. Maryland Ave., on March 28. No other details were available.
21A couple, age and residences not released, were cited for theft after eating chicken they took from the deli counter and not paying for it at Pick 'n Save, 4145 N. Oakland Ave., at noon April 7. They admitted eating the chicken.
22A man, age and residence not released, was arrested twice for theft from Pick 'n Save, 4145 N. Oakland Ave., at about 9 a.m. and again at 10:45 a.m. April 9. At 9 a.m. he took steaks worth $58 and at 10:45 a.m. deodorant and baby formula valued at $54. Those items were covered but the steaks were not.
23A man and woman, ages and residences not released, were arrested for fraud after attempting to have a fraudulent prescription for oxycodone filled at Thompson Serv-U Pharmacy, 1421 E. Capitol Drive, about 5 p.m. April 9. The prescription form came from a clinic in the 7600 block of West Burleigh Street.
24A teenage boy was the victim of an armed robbery as he walked in the 4100 block of North Newhall Street about 6:40 p.m. April 9. A man with a gun walked up to him demanding his wallet. The boy handed over his wallet which had $200 cash inside and the man fled. The boy said the money was an Easter gift.
A resident reported April 11 that her credit card number had been used to purchase items in Chicago on April 5. She said she still had her card. All charges were credited.
25A boy, age and residence not released, was mailed a citation for theft of $21 taken from two backpacks in the boys locker room at Whitefish Bay High School, 1200 E. Fairmount Ave., at 3:15 p.m. April 10. The thefts happened during sixth hour and surveillance video showed only two boys entering the locker room at that time. Both were questioned and one admitted taking the money because he needed it to pay for Whitefish Bay municipal tickets. The money was returned.
26A male bicyclist, age and residence not released, was mailed a citation for failure to stop at a sign after riding though a stop sign and colliding with a car at Lydell Avenue and Henry Clay Street about 9 p.m. April 11. The male was treated at a hospital for minor injuries and released.
