Students congratulated on job well done
Public Forum:
Over the past several weeks, I've had the opportunity to be present at numerous recognition events at Nicolet High School where seniors have been honored for their outstanding achievements. These young men and women have been recognized for their impressive academic, athletic and volunteer excellence.
Perhaps the most poignant ceremony was the Alternative School graduation. Against almost insurmountable odds, five students accomplished what, for them, seemed unattainable two years earlier - enough credits to graduate on time.
As a Nicolet School Board member and resident of this North Shore community, I am so very proud of all these soon-to-be graduates who have put in the effort to excel.
They deserve to be acknowledged for a job well done.
Congratulations!
