Candidate seeks election to another School Board

Public Forum:

I am a candidate for the Nicolet School Board. I have lived in Glendale since 1987 with my husband of 25 years, David Peltz. We are both graduates of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and we have three children: D.J., 16, a sophomore at Nicolet High School; Michelle, 14, an eighth-grader at Glen Hills Middle School; and Samantha, 11, a fifth-grader at Glen Hills.

Currently, I am serving out my first term with the Glendale-River Hills School Board. I believe this board experience combined with my community involvement and business backgrounds are just a few of the qualifications I would bring to the Nicolet board. Most people know me to be a fair, open-minded individual who is not afraid to ask tough questions and seek community input to ensure a clear understanding when making my decisions.

My reasons for running are basically the same as when I ran for the Glendale-River Hills board three years ago: children first when considering any decision, continued educational excellence, fiscal responsibility to our schools and community, and representing my constituency to the best of my ability.

For those who are just getting to know me, visit my Web site at jenniferpeltz.com. If you have any questions, e-mail Jen@JenniferPeltz.com or call (414) 352-5683.

I hope when you go out to vote Tuesday, April 7, you will give me the opportunity to continue my community service through serving you on the Nicolet board.

Jennifer Peltz
