1A $2,000 laptop computer was taken from a locked car in the 4300 block of West Bradley Road within 30 minutes of 1:30 p.m. Sept. 12. Damage to a window was $500.
2More than $2,700 of construction tools including an air compressor, saws, drills and sanders were taken from a locked trailer and a $250 GPS unit from an unlocked car in the 8000 block of North 66th Street on Sept. 13 or 14.
3A 31-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for theft and a probation violation at Kohl's, 9060 N. Green Bay Road, at 1:40 p.m. Sept. 19. An employee recognized the woman because she'd been arrested for theft at the store Aug. 26. On this trip she attempted to take four bottles of cologne valued at $94, two named True Religion. The woman's record revealed more than 20 theft arrests and being on probation for that crime.
4A 26-year-old Dodgeville man and a 28-year-old Madison man were arrested for disorderly conduct and the Dodgeville man also for obstruction at Holiday Inn, 4443 W. Schroeder Drive, at 1:15 a.m. Sept. 20. Witnesses called police reporting the men climbing trees and banging on signs outside a hospital two blocks away. The men were located as they entered the hotel and when told to stop the Dodgeville man ran later saying, "I thought I could get away if I ran." The men, who were walking to the hotel from a Mequon bar, admitted being intoxicated and said they had climbed trees.
5A woman, age and residence not available, was arrested for drunken driving and hit and run after backing into a garbage truck and then onto the lawn outside Porticos Apartments, 500 W. Bradley Road, at 10 a.m. Sept. 19. The woman's car was found in the underground parking garage and the woman in an apartment. She was "confused" and unable to take field sobriety tests. When asked if she'd been drinking, she said she drank a bottle of vodka that morning. She was taken to a hospital.
6A 60-year-old Glendale man was arrested for driving while impaired and hit-and-run causing damage in the 5700 block of North Argyle Avenue at 8:30 p.m. Sept. 20. Numerous people called 911 reporting a man driving erratically including over a lawn in the 5800 block of North Green Bay Avenue and continuing south hitting two traffic signals, then heading west on West Kendall Avenue where he hit at least six cars. Police followed a trail of fluid finding the car's bumper along the way. The man stopped the car with the engine smoking and staggered out onto the street. He admitted drinking wine at a nearby motel and also being on prescription pain medicine. He failed field sobriety tests including counting backward from 37 to 22. When he started to count, he fell backward but an officer caught him.
7A laptop computer, electronic tablet, headphones and a text book valued at more than $1,200 were taken from a locker in the men's locker room at Cardinal Stritch University, 6801 N. Yates Road, the afternoon of Sept. 21. A lock was cut to gain entry.
8A purse, $190 cash and other items valued at more than $80 were taken from the unsecured maintenance office in the Bayshore Town Center parking structure, 5801 N. Lydell Ave., between 6 and 8 p.m. Sept. 21.
9A 17-year-old boy, residence not available, was arrested for underage drinking/possession after he trespassed in the parking lot of Nicolet High School, 6701 N. Jean Nicolet Road, at 12:15 a.m. Sept. 22. The boy who said he was walking home was at first warned by a security guard to stay off school property. The boy ignored the warning, walked on school property and made two obscene gestures at the guard. He was then arrested and a bottle of rum was found in his backpack. He refused to take a breath test.
10A filled prescription for 120 15 mg oxycodone pills valued at $36 was taken from a woman in a motorized wheelchair as she left the Mid Point Clinic, 2600 W. Silver Spring Drive, at 9:20 a.m. Sept. 24. She just had her prescription filled at the clinic and was heading home in her wheelchair when two young males grabbed the pills from her purse and fled.
11An 18-year-old Whitefish Bay man was arrested for theft and possession of drug paraphernalia after taking two bottles of cold medication valued at $13 from Pick 'n Save, 1735 W. Silver Spring Drive, at 8 p.m. Sept. 25. The man, who hid the bottles in his jacket sleeves, told police someone stole his digital music player and agreed to give it back in exchange for the cold medication. The man had a large glass bong in his backpack.
12A $500 smartphone was taken in the 5600 block of North Port Washington Road about 10:15 p.m. Sept. 25. The owner, who reported the theft Sept. 26, said he was waiting for a bus when approached by three males, 16 to 18, who asked to use his phone to call for a ride. After giving the phone to one of them, they fled. He chased them for a few blocks but they got away. The phone service was canceled.
13Three cars were broken into and items taken at Wisconsin Athletic Club, 7601 N. Port Washington Road, one of them early evening Sept. 25 and two early evening Sept. 27. A $1,000 laptop computer was taken Sept. 25 and on Sept. 27 a laptop and tablet valued at $1,000 were taken from one car and a plastic container and a lunch bag valued at $10 from the other. All cars had damage.
14A $290 chop saw was taken from a vehicle parked at Orthopedic Hospital, 475 W. Riverwoods Pkwy., about 8:20 p.m. Sept. 27. Damage was $200. A witness reported two males broke into the car and left in a red SUV.

15Two tires and rims valued at $650 were taken from the driver's side of a 2008 Honda Fit parked overnight at 3600 North Oakland Avenue on Sept. 22 or 23. After the tires were removed, rocks were put under the car to support it. Damage was more than $200.
16A bike trailer valued at $225 was taken from the 1500 block of East Olive Street on Sept. 23 or 24.
17A 23-year-old Menomonee Falls woman was arrested for drunken driving, left turn violation and failure to have insurance at Oakland Avenue and Capitol Drive at 2:15 a.m. Sept. 23. Her BAC was 0.13.
18A 24-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for driving under the influence after being stopped for a defective taillamp in the 1800 block of East Edgewood Avenue at 2:30 a.m. Sept. 24. There was a strong odor of marijuana in the car but the man denied smoking it saying, however, he had been "at a place" where others blew marijuana smoke in his face. He failed field sobriety tests and was taken for a blood draw.
19A prescription for 60 30 mg of oxycodone is under investigation after a 46-year-old Milwaukee man presented it but when asked about insurance fled Family Pharmacy, 3512 N. Oakland Ave., at 1 p.m. Sept. 25. The man said he didn't have insurance but when told he did, he fled the store leaving behind his driver's license.
A resident reported that her debit card had been fraudulently used to purchase items valued at $1,168 at 6:50 p.m. Sept. 25. The card was canceled after her bank called her to report suspicious transactions.
20Two outside windows were broken and undecipherable graffiti was sprayed on a south wall at TCF Bank, 4201 N. Oakland Ave., sometime Sept. 25 or 26. The amount of damage was not available.
21A red 2008 Chevy Colorado truck valued at more than $8000 with $7,000 of tools and a stainless steel ladder, value not available, was taken from a driveway at a work site in the 1700 block of East Menlo Boulevard between 3 and 3:30 p.m. Sept. 26. The keys were in the truck.
22A purse was taken from a car parked at My Laundromat, 3559 N. Oakland Ave., sometime 8:30 to 8:40 p.m. Sept. 27 but was found inside the business with the wallet missing at 10:15 p.m. Sept. 27.
23More than 200 pounds of scrap metal valued at $50 was reported taken from the 5900 block of North Lake Drive at 12:45 p.m. Sept. 24.
24A 21-year-old Shorewood man was arrested for drunken driving, refusal to take a breath test, no proof of insurance and speeding 41 mph in a 25 mph zone in the 600 block of East Hampton Road at 8 p.m. Sept. 25.
25Four bicycles were reported stolen from bike racks at Whitefish Bay High School, 1200 E. Fairmount Ave., two Sept. 26, one Sept. 27, and one Sept. 28. On that date, the rear tire of a secured bike was bent causing $100 damage. The bikes ranged in value from $200 to $400.
26A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct after causing a disturbance in the Village Municipal Building, 5300 N. Marlborough Drive, at 5:25 p.m. Sept. 28.
27A 17-year-old Milwaukee boy was arrested for theft of a bicycle taken from the 200 block of East Ch teau Place about 6 p.m. Sept. 28. The bike's owner chased the thief and with the help of Glendale police he was stopped at Port Washington Road and Hampton Avenue.
28A 20-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for underage drinking and inattentive driving after hitting a guard rail in the 5200 block of North Lake Drive at 3:11 a.m. Sept. 29. She was taken to a hospital for minor injuries.
29A 23-year-old Whitefish Bay man was arrested for disorderly conduct after a report of him screaming and breaking a car's windows in the 4800 block of North Anita Place at 4:45 a.m. Sept. 29.
A 59-year-old Whitefish Bay man was arrested for municipal battery after a report of a domestic situation at 7 a.m. Sept. 29.
30A lawn mower valued at $400 was taken from the 100 block of West Belle Avenue on Sept. 29 or 30.
31A bicycle was found in a portable toilet at Lexington and Idlewild avenues at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 1.
