Kathryn McCullough and David Jorgensen were married May 3, 2009, at the Loft in Astoria, Ore.
Parents of the bride are Michael McCullough of Chippewa Falls and Susan Charon of Cloquet, Minn. Parents of the groom are Earl and Mary Jorgensen of Shorewood.
The Rev. Aimee Genter officiated the 4 p.m. ceremony which was followed by a reception at the Loft.
The bride wore a 1950s ivory party dress and carried a bouquet of white peonies, rinoculous and roses.
Maid of honor was Valerie Pietila of Portland, Ore., friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Melaina Juntti of Boulder, Colo.; and Allison McCullough of Chippewa Falls.
Best man was Joshua Vasby of Portland, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Bryan Fairfield and Adam Schultz, both of Portland.
The bride, who earned her bachelor's degree in criminology and criminal justice at Portland State University, is a project manager at Opus Creative in Portland.
The groom, who earned his bachelor's degree in geography from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, is a musician in Portland.
The couple met at the Black Bird in 2002 where the groom's band was playing that night.
They honeymooned in Maui for one week and reside in Portland.
