Patricia Jean Poehlmann

Patricia Jean Poehlmann (nee VanDeuren) of Milwaukee Catholic Home, formerly of Whitefish Bay, died July 24, 2009, at age 80.

Patricia was an avid reader and had a true love for cooking. She enjoyed spending time creating wonderful memories at her second home in Fish Creek, Door County.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, John "Jack" J. Poehlmann; children, Paul F. (Betsy) Poehlmann of Whitefish Bay, John P. (Mary) Poehlmann of Whitefish Bay, Jeanne (Cal) Burnton of Arlington Heights, Ill., and William (Julie) Poehlmann of Rochester, N.Y.; grandchildren, Adam, Bridget and Joey Poehlmann, Elizabeth, Emily and Kristen Poehlmann, Kate, Ellen, Patrick and Laura Burnton, and Matthew and Nicholas Poehlmann; brother, the Rev. John H. VanDeuren; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Charles (Marie) Poehlmann, Mary (Ken) Schultz, Joseph (Lois) Poehlmann, Anne (Robert) Neja, Lynn (Richard) Schowalter and Terrance (Gail) Inda; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Inda.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Aug. 3 at St. Anne's Chapel, Milwaukee. Private committal services were at Resurrection Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Milwaukee Catholic Home, Special Care Unit.

The family thanks the staff of the Special Care Unit at the Milwaukee Catholic Home for their genuine care and compassion for Patricia.

Feerick Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
