Mary Ellen Petersen
Mary Ellen Petersen (nee Modrinski) of Shorewood died July 7, 2009, at age 55 after a courageous 15-year battle with cancer.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Gordon Petersen; daughter, Caitlin Petersen; brothers, John (Joanie) and Mark (Marybeth) Modrinski; other relatives and friends.
Service was July 19. Private interment was held.
Memorials are suggested to Caitlin's College Fund, c/o Feerick Funeral Home.
The family thanks Dr. Bredeson, Kim Knight, Dr. Franco and all the wonderful nurses at the Froedtert Cancer Clinic.
Feerick Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
