Siker-Passalis-Bain
Jody Siker and Nicholas Passalis-Bain, both of San Francisco, are planning an Aug. 2, 2009, wedding at the Boerner Botanical Gardens, Hales Corners.
Parents of the engaged couple are Dan and Linda Siker, River Hills, and James Bain and Lisabeth Passalis-Bain, Elm Grove.
The bride-to-be, a graduate of Nicolet High School, earned her bachelor's degree in psychology and biological aspects of conservation from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her master's degree in exceptional education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is a special education teacher at Bessie Carmichael Elementary School, San Francisco.
The future groom, a graduate of Brookfield East High School, earned his bachelor's degree in English and creative writing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a copywriter and editor at NexTag, San Mateo, California.
The couple, both California natives, became engaged in July 2008 at the Japanese Tea Garden at Central Park in San Mateo.
