Marynell Fetherston

Marynell Fetherston (nee Lloyd) of Whitefish Bay, formerly of Fox Point and Shorewood, died June 23, 2009, at age 86.

Marynell had a true passion for learning, always enjoying a good book and exploring the world through her travels. If there was ever anything in question or information needed, the family knew who to go to, "The Fountain of Knowledge" Marynell. She spent many years volunteering as a docent at the Milwaukee Art Museum, educating people on fine art. But above all, Marynell had a true devotion to her family; she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children, William Fetherston, Patricia (Timothy) Stumm, Kevin (Kim) Fetherston and Elizabeth (Robert Greenwood) Fetherston; grandchildren, Sean Fetherston, Timothy, Jennifer, Charles and Peter Stumm, and William and Ian Greenwood; daughter-in-law, Marianne Fetherston; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, William C. Fetherston; children, Sheila and Brian Fetherston; and sister- and brother-in-law, Jeanne Foran and Richard Fetherston.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated June 29 at St. Monica Catholic Church, Whitefish Bay. Interment was at St. Finbar Cemetery, Saukville.

Memorials are suggested to Kindcare Social Service, 1016 Milwaukee Ave., South Milwaukee, WI 53172-2006.

Feerick Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
