W. Emerson Noyes
W. Emerson Noyes of Cedarburg, formerly of Mequon, died June 7, 2009, at age 78.
He was a graduate of Milwaukee Country Day School and earned his degree at Yale University. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. He loved the outdoors, especially the Brule River and fly fishing and hunting. He greatly enjoyed his lifelong association and friendship with game wardens throughout the state. His true pride and joy in life was spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Blake (Joanne) Noyes, Chris (Anne) Noyes and Concie (Ian) Fowler; grandchildren, Blake, Daniel, Connor and Patricia Noyes and Allyson and Elena Noyes, and Andrew Fowler; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Helen (David) Hyde, Margaret (Robert) Banks and Haskell (Katherine) Noyes.
Service was June 10 at Fox Point Evangelical Lutheran Church, Fox Point. Private interment was at Forest Home Cemetery.

The family thanks the staff at Newcastle, Cedar Springs and the "Emerson Girls" for all their loving care. They particularly thank Hack and Meg for their devotion to and their frequent visits with Emerson.
