Carole Snowdon
Carole Snowdon (nee Kofoid) of Shorewood died from a stroke May 30, 2009, at age 73.
She retired after 30 years of service as a clinical social worker at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and worked 15 years in private practice with Psycho Analytic Psychology and Lighthouse Clinic. She was an active member of the Audubon Society, Prairie State Canoeists, the Wisconsin Sierra Club River Touring Section and West Florida Canoe and Kayak Club.
She is survived by her daughter, Anne (Harry Cherkinian) Siegel; sisters and brother, Linda (Raymond) Venn, Louise (James) Trublic and Karl (Clarice) Kofoid; grandchildren, Julia, Sarah, Kate, Christopher, Daniel, Katie and Carolyn; great-grandchild, Cody; former husband and close friend, Albert Snowdon; longtime partner, Stanley Goldfarb; other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. June 28 at Hubbard Park Lodge, 3565 N. Morris Blvd., Shorewood.
Memorials are suggested to the Sierra Club, Audubon Society or Foster Care Youth Independence of Milwaukee.
Church & Chapel Funeral Services handled the arrangements.
